MAPC offer functional skills in Maths, English and IT. We also cover topics on History, Geography, World Affairs and Equality/Diversity. Students will also have opportunities to engage in health and wellbeing opportunities through our links with local gyms/health centres. Our courses will all be based around improving confidence, self-esteem and aspirations of our students.
Key workers will offer 1-1 support to students within a positive and comfortable environment, with a focus on improving individual outlooks and outcomes. MAPC will ensure ongoing communication between parents/carers and schools to encourage positive engagement and improved attendance, attainment and behaviour.
Our students will engage within community initiatives that will be identified by staff through our links with other CICs, Charities and Community Centres.
MAPC will also be delivering various bespoke courses for companies in need of training or development. For example courses like equality and diversity, LGBT, key life skills, entrepreneurship, tenancy management and various others.
MAPC are currently a preferred provider for Impact PRU. Impact PRU are a pupil referral unit that provide full time education to disengaged students who, for a variety of reasons, have not flourished mainstream education.
MAPC are able to offer support to students with a focus on reintegrating them back into mainstream education, aswell as students who will be requiring long term alternative provision support.
